WHAT ABOUT MASKS?
IN-PERSON WORSHIP & COVID UPDATES

We are worshipping in person in our sanctuary
Sundays at 10:30 a.m.

With the omicron variant of C-19 floating amongst us, and the delta variant still thriving

in California, the C-19 Committee and church staff have developed these protocols and

policies for our Church site.

  • No one will be asked to declare their vaccination status, however everyone will be expected to wear masks indoors, at all times.

  • We will not eat or drink indoors, as this involves removing masks.

  • We will not prepare food in the kitchen. All food eaten at Peace UCC will need to be

  • prepared off site and consumed outdoors.

  • In addition, the church leadership has reviewed how to best host larger events for both external and internal groups during this time of transition.  Carefully considering space, safety, parking, bathrooms, and staffing, for the meantime, a maximum number of 200 participants has been set for the sanctuary and 100 for the fellowship hall.  These numbers will be strictly and consistently applied until the staff and church leadership feel that it is the right time to consider larger events again

These guidelines are to be followed by our congregation, our renters, and our staff. The

one exception is our church operating staff who are a “safe pod” and will put on masks whenever anyone else enters their workspace.

Our intention is to maintain safe, but usable indoor space for Church activities as well

as rentals.
