Pastoral Care
We provide care for our church family during times of crisis and life challenges. We make phone calls and visits, provide meals, and send cards to support those in need. For those on our prayer list, we also send cards and make calls .

Peace Pods
Once a year or more, we meet in small groups to share our views and explore our vision, our mission and ministries of Peace United. It’s a time of discernment to consider who we are today and where we are going as a faith community.

Youth and Familiy
Peace United is home to a lively and diverse community of families and a generous circle of children! Children are a huge part of who we are and what we do at Peace! They are welcomed and cherished at each and every one of our worship services. Each week, we worship and learn together as a community of all ages, and all kinds of families.
We have a dedicated space, called the "Pray Ground," available for families with small children to stretch out and enjoy some quiet activities during the "talkier" part of the service! We believe children learn best by being in the mix, watching and participating.
Besides our family-friendly worship services, we also offer many events and activities for children and families:
Monthly Sunday School lessons that explore the Bible through story and craft on Family Worship Sundays.
-
Monthly Kids' Night Out gatherings (third Friday of the month) for kids to play, make pizza, learn songs, tell stories, and make crafts.
-
Monthly Family Game Nights with light snacks and games for all ages.
-
Periodic beach clean-ups, making dinners for our rotating shelter for the unhoused, and other family-friendly volunteer opportunities.
-
Weekly online storytelling videos for kids and families that tell stories to connect what's going on in church to your home life.
Moving forward, we hope to expand children's programs at PUCC, so stay tuned for more exciting PUCC Kid's news! Thank you for sharing your family with us.

Questions of Our Faith
Pastor Dave holds sessions after church for those who want to know more about our church or are thinking about membership at Peace UCC. If you are a newcomer or someone who has been at Peace UCC for a long time, this is a chance to ask questions and to consider some of the “basics” of Christian history, theology and practice.

Stump The Pastor
Church attendees can submit faith based questions they have for the pastor in the question box in the narthex or by email at questions@peaceunited.org
When there is a fifth Sunday in the month (it happens about 4 times a year) Pastor Dave answers these questions as the sermon topic.
It’s your opportunity to ask any questions that you have wondered about…questions from the Bible, from a moral or ethical Christian perspective, or even about our Christian traditions or history.
